Quack Quack Pond ("the App") is a children's iOS game developed by Darrell ("we", "us", "our"). We take your family's privacy seriously. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Parent account information: When a parent signs in using Apple Sign-In or Google, we receive your name and email address through Auth0 (our authentication provider). This is used solely to manage your parent account.
Game data: Your child's cumulative quack score and session dates are stored in your parent account. This data is linked to your parent account only, not to the child.
No child data is collected. We do not collect any personal information from children. Children do not create accounts, enter names, provide email addresses, or submit any data of any kind.
The App includes an optional photo feature that allows parents to capture a photo during gameplay. This photo is:

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to free users. All ads are configured with child-directed treatment enabled, which means:
Ads appear only in areas designed for parent interaction (below the game zone, during app loading, and in the Parent Zone). Ads are never shown during active child gameplay.
Parents may permanently remove all ads by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option within the App.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate (session counts, retention, feature usage). Firebase Analytics is configured with child-directed settings enabled. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Quack Quack Pond is designed for children aged 2 to 6 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Parent account data (email, game scores) is retained for as long as the account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) and secure authentication (Auth0) to protect your data. No data is stored in plain text on our servers.
